Rob Christie – Operations, Adapt Security
A Wellington local through and through, Rob Christie brings over 15 years of experience in the security industry, working alongside other extra-low voltage trades.
His career started in the UK as a sound engineer, installing and servicing audio systems in live venue environments. Over time, he transitioned into data and security, developing a keen understanding of system integration and infrastructure.
Upon returning to New Zealand, Rob spent the past decade managing security for banks, supermarkets, and the transport sector at a nationwide security provider. He gained invaluable experience overseeing small, medium, and large-scale security installations, ensuring clients had the right protection in place.
Rob’s hands-on experience has given him a deep understanding of security systems, allowing him to provide tailored solutions rather than one-size-fits-all approaches.
Now, as Operations Manager at Adapt Security, Rob is dedicated to delivering smart, reliable, and customer-driven security solutions for both commercial and residential clients.
